Presence, Responsiveness, and Support

Deploy is building a room-based robotic support system for long-term, hospice, and palliative care that can help reduce non-urgent interruptions, improve patient experience, and support care teams without replacing caregivers or altering clinical workflows.

Core Capabilities

What Deploy Robots Do

Deploy’s early product is designed around a focused set of non-clinical support functions that can improve presence, responsiveness, and low-complexity task coverage in long-term, hospice, and palliative care settings.

Navigation & Wayfinding

Guides patients, visitors, and staff through complex facility layouts. Supports autonomous corridor navigation, elevator operation, and door management to improve responsiveness and reduce burden on care teams.

Logistics Support

Handles supply delivery, linen transport, sample movement, and routine material transfers between departments. Frees clinical staff from non-clinical errands and improves operational efficiency across the facility.

Continuous Presence & Overnight Support

Remains present with patients during long periods alone, reducing loneliness and stress. Responds immediately to patient calls or distress during overnight hours when anxiety and delayed responsiveness are especially difficult.

Engagement, Conversation & Support

Reads aloud, tells stories, and facilitates simple mental activities. Enables gentle, patient-led multilingual conversation, stores patient preferences, and delivers reminders and updates from family and staff.

Light Environmental Tasks

Supports simple in-room tasks such as delivering water, blankets, pillows, or personal items, tidying, and adjusting room conditions where integrated.

Human Escalation, Not Replacement

Alerts nurses or aides when needed and acts as a bridge, not a decision-maker, within clear human-in-the-loop supervision.

Built for Real Care Settings

Human-Supervised by Design

Deploy’s early product is designed for controlled, real-world deployment with clear human oversight, defined operating boundaries, and a practical focus on reliability in human-sensitive environments.

Human Oversight

Deploy is built around active supervision, support, and escalation rather than unsupervised autonomy. The operating model emphasizes deployment, servicing, uptime, and real-world accountability.

Defined Operating Boundaries

Early deployments focus on specific, bounded support tasks with clear rules around where the system operates, what it handles, and when human escalation is required.

Reliable Real-World Operation

The product is designed to deliver dependable support through structured deployment, maintenance, and continuous optimization over time, not one-off demos or unmanaged hardware.

Clear Boundaries

Designed for Support, Not Clinical Judgment

Deploy’s early product is intentionally narrow. It is designed to improve presence, responsiveness, and low-complexity support inside real care settings while staying within clear human, ethical, and operational boundaries.

Designed For:

Continuous room-based presence
Calm conversation and reminders
Engagement and stimulation
Overnight responsiveness
Light environmental support
Human escalation when needed

Not Designed For:

Medical decision-making
Clinical judgment or advice
